USBnet simplifies home networking
Entegra Technologies has introduced a new product that allows two PCs to be connected without opening the computer or installing a network interface card. USBnet requires users to simply attach two USB connectors and click a button.
USBnet's ease of use, compact design and light weight are targeted to attract travelers and mobile professionals.
Entrega supplies USBnet with two detachable cables, with a maximum connection distance of 10 meters. An LED light indicates when one or both PCs are correctly connected.
Systems requirements for USBnet include Windows 98 or Windows 95b, an available USB port and at least 16MB RAM. Since USBnet uses USB power, no additional batteries or AC adapters are required. For more information, see www.entrega.com .
