US unveils new supercomputer
A new supercomputer called QCDOC, for quantum chromodynamics on a chip, was unveiled at the US Department of Energy (DOE) Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) in New York.
Quantum chromodynamics is a theory in physics that describes the interactions of subatomic particles called quarks and gluons.
