U.S. LCD TV sales more than double in 2006
LCD TV volumes in the U.S. market grew 134% while revenues grew 125% in 2006 to over US$11 billion in 2006, compared to US$5 billion in 2005, according to Quixel Research. On a sequential basis, the LCD TV category topped $4.3 billion in revenues for the fourth quarter of 2006, or up 42% from the third quarter of 2006.
