US Hyundai Electronics group now "Hynix America"
Korean memory-maker Hyundai Electronics Industries Co. Ltd. has officially changed its name to Hynix Semiconductor Inc. Moreover, its US subsidiary, based in San Jose, California, is now officially Hynix America Inc. As previously announced, the name changes are part of an effort to focus attention on the company's DRAM, SRAM, flash memory and system IC production efforts.
