Unisys, MS, Dell tackle ballots
Unisys Corp., Dell Computer Corp. and Microsoft Corp. are working on a new voting system that would avoid the problems associated with the recent US presidential elections. Unisys would lead development of a system for processing voter registration, identifying voters and processing ballots. Unisys has previous electronic voting experience in Brazil and Costa Rica, and has worked with the state of Minnesota on a Web-based voting system.
