UMC and Artisan to jointly work on PCI-Express PHY IP core
Artisan Components, a provider of physical intellectual property (IP), and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC), said that the two companies are now focused on the development of a PCI-Express PHY (physical layer) IP core for 0.13-micron chip designs.
