by - source: Tom's Hardware

Last month , LSI got a nod of approval from the SCSI Trade Association (STA) for its Ultra320 silicon. Today, the company tells us that that it will now start a worldwide product sampling and demo program for its LSI53C1030 Ultra320 SCSI controller. The LSI53C1030, built on LSI's Fusion-MPT architecture, is currently being shown off at Computex in Taipei, Taiwan. The LSI53C1030 PCI-X to dual channel Ultra320 SCSI controller was accompanied to Computex by the LSI53C1020 single channel Ultra320 SCSI controller. LSI says that single, dual, legacy, and low-profile host adapter boards for Ultra320 are also on the way.
