Tyan dual Opteron board will support 16GB memory
Detailed specifications of the Thunder K8W Opteron workstation board have become available showing the type of oomph expected from a dual Opteron configuration. "The K8W supports one or two Opterons, uses the AMD-8151 AGP 3.0 graphics tunnel, the 8131 PCI-X tunnel and the 8111 IO hub. It also includes Winbond’s SUper IO chip and an Analog Devices hardware monitoring chip."
