Tyan Computer allies with Mitac
Motherboard maker Tyan Computer has announced a strategic relationship with Mitac International of Taiwan.
Tyan and Mitac will jointly develop and manufacture products based on advanced multiprocessor technologies for personal computers, especially NT workstations and servers. Mitac will become a significant shareholder of Tyan stock in the process.
Tyan designs, manufactures, and markets system board technology. The Mitac Group, including Mitac International and Synnex Information Technologies, is a major supplier to computer OEMs around the world.
