Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles races to Xbox Live
Redmond (WA) - Ubisoft will be bringing the arcade classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the Xbox Live Arcade this month. The release is conveniently scheduled on the forefront of a new TMNT game that hits the Xbox 360 in two weeks.
The original game first hit US arcades in 1989, and the release on XBL Arcade marks the first direct port of the game to a console. The popular arcade title led to a Turtles game franchise that has spawned dozens of games across 17 platforms.
The next-gen TMNT game, which has the Xbox 360 in its multi-platform lineup, is set for a March 20 release. The original arcade game will hit the XBL Arcade during one of the weekly Wednesday updates this month. It will carry a price of 400 Microsoft points ($5).
