Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) is expected to unveil its Reference Flow 8.0 for the 45 nm process at the upcoming Design Automation Conference (DAC) from June 4-8 in San Diego, US, according to industry sources. The latest version is expected to be launched less than a year after 7.0 was introduced for 65nm production in July 2006, with the chief differences from past versions being that 8.0 features built-in dual power SRAM customization for clients, the sources said.
