TSMC's recent investments arouse attention
Industry observers are noting recent investments made by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), as they show the foundry’s intentions to maintain stable earnings, industry sources commented. TSMC announced on June 27 that it invested NT$ 1 billion (US$ 30.67 million) in bonds released by China Steel, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
