TSMC and UMC's China moves slacking
Even as top foundry Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) recently kicked off construction in Shanghai's Songjiang Industrial Zone, Taiwan semiconductor equipment suppliers say that the island's two foundry giants are nevertheless slowing down their westward move to China.
