TSMC and UMC may cut foundry prices
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) may begin cutting prices for wafer processing at 0.35- and 0.18-micron nodes this quarter, according to sources at fables IC design houses.
