TSMC and IBM play down ADI foundry agreement with IBM
Both Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and IBM Microelectronics played down the significance of Wednesday's announcement that Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) is ordering TigerSHARC digital signal processors (DSPs) and embedded DRAM (E-DRAM) from IBM.
