Although both Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) are seeing capacity utilization rise for above 0.35-micron and sub-0.18-micron processing, they are seeing relatively fewer foundry orders for mid-range processes of between 0.25- and 0.18-micron.
