According to sources, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has signed an informal agreement with the Shanghai city government to establish the Songjiang Industrial Zone as the site for the foundry leader's first 8" wafer fab in China. However, Jiangsu Province is still on the list, reports indicate.
