TrustELI adds small biz offering
TrustELI today announced availability of a small business version of its Internet security appliance.
Eli for Small Business is a Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliance that works in conjunction with hosted security services. It is designed to protect users from "blended" threats, while reducing configuration and management complexity. The product combines a firewall, DSL modem, wireless connectivity, 4-port Ethernet switch with anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-malware, anti-spyware, anti-phishing and content filtering controls.
The appliance works in conjunction with services hosted by TrustELI that include automatic download of new virus definitions, known spammer blacklists and objectionable Web site lists "at least thirty times per day" to ensure up-to-date protection. Also included in the monthly managed service fee are 24x7 connectivity monitoring, and a guaranteed overnight replacement warranty.
Eli for Small Business has an MSRP of $250, with the managed services starting at $20 per month. The product is available now.
