Tripod emerges as largest PCB supplier for iPod lineups
Taiwan-based PCB (printed circuit board) maker Tripod Technology has emerged as the largest PCB supplier for iPod lineups, with monthly consolidated revenues expected to hit a new record high of NT$1.6 billion (US $48 million) in December, according market sources.
Increasing orders for flash cards, optoelectronics, and HDD (hard disc drive) related PCBs since the second half of this year have helped drive up revenue growth, said sources at Tripod.
