Transmeta wins notebooks orders
In the next two months, Transmeta Corp.'s Crusoe processor will establish a presence in the US notebook market. Casio and NEC will join Sony in delivering mobile computers equipped with the low-power Crusoe chips. The Crusoe-based Fiva notebook will have an outside switch that allows users to boot in Windows or Linux.
