Transcend's 512MB CompactFlash Card
Transcend just let us know that it has doubled the capacity on a single CompactFlash Card to 512MB from its previous maximum of 256MB. The company also says that it's now presenting a new type of packaging for its CompactFlash Memory Cards, SmartMedia Memory Cards, and MultiMediaCard Memory Cards. The newly designed packaging comes with a user's manual, warranty card, and hard plastic memory card carrying case. I mention the case because it sounds cool even though we couldn't dig up a picture of it. The carrying case is supposed to keep your CompactFlash Card safe when it's not plugged into a device. I always thought the device was the carrying case for memory cards...
