Toshiba trims monitor prices
Two sub-$300 monitors are the newest members of Toshiba's TekBright display line.
Both the 15" TekBright 510V and 17" TekBright 710V monitors support fully automated Plug-and-Play installation under Windows 95 and 98. Both offer a horizontal scan rate of 69KHz at resolutions up to 1024-by-768 and are Energy Star compliant.
On-screen display and automatic recall of new settings permit users to adjust image quality, size and position.
The 510V is being sold at an estimated price of $179, while the 710V is available for $299.
