Toshiba to spend more on memory
Japanese electronics conglomerate Toshiba Corp. says it plans to increase capital spending for semiconductors this financial year by 10 percent to 130 billion yen ($1.19 billion). "It said Tuesday the increase from an earlier estimate of 188 billion yen for the year to next March was to boost memory production in Japan."
