Toshiba announced on May 21 that it has successfully developed an 8.4", super-slim (0.4mm), super-light (less than 20g), flexible LTPS (low-temperature poly-silicon) TFT LCD. The panel weighs only about a quarter to a fifth that of existing LTPS panels.
