Toshiba puts Core 2 Duo processors in new notebooks
Toshiba today announced details of two new notebook computers, each of which is available with Intel Core 2 Duo Processors.
The Satellite R25-S3513 is a tablet PC and, according to Toshiba, it is the first time that a Toshiba Satellite convertible notebook has included Intel’s latest processor. It comes packed with a DVD-DL burner, a 100 GB hard drive, and a 5-card media adapter. It has an estimated street price of $1500.
Toshiba also announced the Satellite P105-S9722 gaming notebook, which will include the Intel Core 2 Duo processor as well. It runs on Nvidia’s new 7900 GS graphics chip and has a DVD burner and a 200 GB hard drive. The notebook will be available for about $2000.
