Toshiba and Matsushita to halt domestic CRT production
Toshiba and Matsushita Electric last Friday and Saturday respectively announced that they would stop production of CRTs (cathode ray tubes) for TV sets in Japan by next September, reported the Nihon Keizai Shimbun .
