Toshiba announces new white LEDs
Toshiba America Electronic Components (TAEC) recently announced new compact high-efficiency white LEDs that provide twice the brightness of Toshiba’s previous generation devices and the company claims the new products are among the brightest white LEDs in the industry available in this form factor. Developed by Toshiba, the new TLWK1100B LED delivers luminous intensity levels of 1500 millicandelas (mcd) from a drive current of only 20mA (typical value).
