Torvalds rails against European Union
Finnish software wizard Linus Torvalds has hit out at against European Union plans over software patents.
Torvalds, along with Michael Wedenus at MySQL and Rasmus Lerdorf at PHP said they consider a draft directive on software patents to be "deceptive, dangerous and democratically illegitimate".
