Enter Tom's Hardware's Top Secret SoCal Contest
Want to come to our offices and play with some of the latest and greatest? Here is your chance!
We've got a new contest today to share with you, dear Tom's Hardware readers. Here's the thing – it's still secret.
We're holding a special event with room for six lucky participants who will get to play with some great new PC gaming technology, both on the hardware and software side.
Also, those selected will be a part of a recorded event, so if you're looking for your 15 minutes of fame, this could be your chance!
Right now, this is a hush-hush operation, but we promise that there will be some nice gifts.
Due to certain restrictions, we're only able to invite those who live in Southern California and can cover his or her own expenses in traveling to and from our offices in Culver City on a weekend in January.
If this is you, then hit up our entry form here. Good luck!

lol.co.uk
The more I read this crap the more I feel It's run by a couple of spotty nerds in some darkened smelly backroom.
If you're advertising on the WWW then try to at least make it look bigger than it is!
Restricting it to one state is like restricting it to a single county in Great Britain, Gees guy's, you aint, nuthin.

sunflier :
Since it's so freakin 'restricted' why not just make it the first 6 people in line?
Last time I checked the population of Southern California was roughly 24 million.

Last time I checked the population of the UK was closer to 61m and for the world (since I'm guessing this is posted on EVERY version of tom's) is 6.8bn.
Now, let's start being a bit "selective" with our posts, shall we?
(btw, i'm sorry if formating and bbcode is a mess)
classic...
Thanks Marcus - I would love to see "UK" based offices of THG's
Considering last time they were hiring for the UK team - advertised location was "France" - one would get two birds with one stone - set their bloody French offices on fire. Either way - I will stick to the usual - yet best suited for this: "FUCK YOU TOMS"
Now, let's start being a bit "selective" with our posts, shall we?
They can't. The system automatically posts news on the UK mirror.

Time to change system then...

No, that would reduce content and thus traffic.
I do agree, tomshardware is a .co.uk site, even the .com domain forwards you to .co.uk, so when are the people in the UK going to get a competition to win some goodies. Hell, if you want to setup a UK office I would love to apply for a job and quit my current one (and I enjoy my current one), although I should mention in advance my English writing it really bad.
