Here are the key points about the interview

He admits to not having a business license; He believes he can use the Sharky Extreme and Maximum PC Logos because they have reviewed the chipsets; He admits to having a drop-box in the Marina Del Rey UPS Store; He claims to have a real shop one block away from the UPS Store; He says that the 17000 3DMark2003 score is achieved through "optimizations;" He claims to sell to the US Navy; He claims to have been in business from 1996 to 2000 in Huntington Beach. That directly contradicts officials at Huntington Beach City Hall who say his business license was valid from 2000 to 2004.

Michael was very articulate and calm during the interview. He appears convinced of what he says and advertises. After the interview, Michael gave me two of his business cards. As I turned the cards over, I saw, on the backside, SEVEN review logos!

Two logos were from PC World and PC Gamer. I contacted both publications and they had this to say.

Greg Vederman, Editor for PC Gamer, says,

"I am positive that we have not reviewed any products from Michael's Computers.

Sandy Wong, Senior Director of Marketing for PC World, says,

"The 2003 PC World "World Class" award is a legitimate award and that's the correct logo. However, Michael's Computers *was not* a winner."
