Tom's Hardware Goes Live with New Site in Hungary
That's right, our own Tom's Hardware Guide has just launched a Hungarian language site at www.tomshardware.hu . Tom's Hardware Guide now serves up localized versions in English, German, Polish, Hungarian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. The new site will be operated by Hirek Media and Internet Technology Ltd. of Budapest, Hungary. Founded in 1996 by Dr. Thomas Pabst (the Tom in Tom's Hardware), THG continues to strive toward giving readers the most precise and in-depth reviews, news, and columns (had to toot our own horn a bit here). As of March 2001, THG had achieved nearly 33 million page impressions and attracted an audience of two million unique visitors per month worldwide, making it the most popular independent hardware site on the Web. And it all was made possible by people like you.
