Tommy Hilfiger offer Dubliners the chance to lark about wih touch screen shopfronts
Big name label, Tommy Hilifiger, is giving its Irish customers the chance to enjoy a more interactive shopping experience.
Its Trinity Street store ; in Ireland’s capital city, Dublin, has launched a through-window touch screen technology, providing an interface for passing shoppers to capture, stylise and submit their image as part of collage of images being shown on digital screens in the shop windows.
Surprisingly the screen isn’t switched off after hours, which means Friday nights on Trinity Street are going to be pretty interesting for the next few weeks.
If you’ve ever been to Dublin, you’ll know what we’re talking about. All we’re saying is, if that screen is as cool as it looks, imagine how cool it would be after you’ve had a few pints.
At the end of the campaign, customers will be able to return to the store and have their own T-shirt specially printed using the image they created as the design.
A selection of images from each participating store will also be broadcast via 7KW projectors on to a selection of high profile public buildings in Dublin.
