Tom's Blurb: Computer Hardware Religion? : Introduction
Introduction
Phew! Things here are supposed to get back to normal now, but I have hardly returned from my little vacation and CeBIT is waiting for me already. This year's CeBIT will be from March 18 until March 24. New record numbers are expected, over 7.500 exhibitors are supposed to attract 650.000 visitors, numbers that make CeBIT in Hannover/Germany still the by far largest computer show in the world. I will be leaving for CeBIT on Wednesday, but I will keep you posted from there, so don't worry. Maybe I will even be able to supply you with some real time video directly from the show, because Tom's Hardware Guide is part of a big project called 'megaCar ', a high-end car with top of the line cyber-equipment. I will make sure to take advantage of this cool facility for you.
Fabian, My New Nephew!

Fabian, at this time three weeks old
Fabian made his first appearance on February 20, 1999, thus his birthday is just 3 days after mine and he's Aquarius too. I have to say that I am a very proud uncle and I would like to take the late opportunity to congratulate my sister in law Regine and my best, one and only brother Rainer. I will be Fabian's godfather and promise officially that I will do for him whatever I can.
