Three TNT2 Ultra-based graphics cards achieved the best performance levels on the newest revision of the Quake 3 Arena tests from id Software.
According to performance results just published by Mercury Research, the Nvidia TNT2-based cards scored highest overall, followed by cards based on the Voodoo 3 3000 from 3Dfx Interactive, which logged the highest frame rates on the Quake 3 Arena test.
Following the Voodoo 3 3000 were add-in boards built around the Rage 128 GL from ATI Technologies, and S3's Savage 4 from Diamond Multimedia and Hercules.
The results can be found online, at www.themeter.com , a site published by Mercury Research.
