Tiny storage devices pitched at Comdex
Among the new technologies and gadgets competing for attention at Comdex will be at least four extremely portable storage devices. M-Systems' pen-sized DiskOnKey holds as much as 32 MB and plugs into any USB port. Trek 2000 International's ThumbDrive, the size of the named digit, also plugs into a USB port, and holds up to 256 MB. Amacom Technologies' USB Flipdisk holds 20 GB and incorporates a Toshiba 2.5" hard drive, also available in a PC card. Ei's Q, small enough to carry on a keychain, can hold 64 MB. All the devices are password-protected.
