TI's Hollywood Mobile Digital TV solution to go live on DVB-H network in Barcelona
Texas Instruments (TI) is showcasing the first public demonstration of its Hollywood mobile DTV single-chip solution at the 3GSM World Congress being held in Barcelona, Spain from February 13-16. The DVB-H standard provides a living room TV viewing experience in the palm of your hand and can achieve average 1.5 second channel switching time ; 30+ channels of live TV programming, audio content and pod casts ; a long battery life of 3.5+ hours ; and up to 30 frames per second delivery speed.
