The closing reception for the Making Hardware Pay In 2004 conference provided an opportunity for attendees to meet speakers and vendors over snacks and beverages as well applauding outstanding companies at the annual Tom's Hardware Guide Readers Choice Awards where vendors were honored for providing the best PC components and peripherals, as judged by THG readers.

Sandwiched between Dianna Bari and Shannon Kelly Gould of Tom's Hardware Guide is Bo Bracey, of CPUSolutions.com in Wisconsin. Bo was the winner of the THG prize draw, an all expenses paid trip to the City of Industry for XChange Presents Tom's Hardware. Would he have been happier if it was a trip to Maui? Lots of sand, but no silicon so, we guess not.

After absorbing the day's intense amount of information, it was a pleasure to sit over a beverage and a plate of bacon-wrapped scallops and think about all we'd learned while bumping elbows with the best vendors in the industry. See you next year.
