MSI's David Ku stands proud next to some hotrod gaming machines based on MSI's motherboards.

MSI displayed its motherboards, graphics cards and other wares, though we had trouble pinning anyone down for a comment amidst the suite's hullabaloo. Those boxes would be a nice addition to my playroom, however.

ExaByte

Looks like Kerry Brock is having no trouble holding up the 1 x 10 packet autoloader 1U, on display in ExaByte's suite. Perhaps there's someone we can't see giving him assistance from behind.

"In a nutshell, we're demonstrating the VXA-2, which is a tape drive that writes in packet formats and is 180% more storable than DDS tape," says ExaByte's Ken Juntunen. "That's really the market we're going after for it. Our technology also makes it much more restorable. There's also a 1U product that we're kicking off in January that stores 1.6 TB and goes for about $2,500."
