Kensington - PocketHUB
Retail Price - $39.99 US
Website - Kensington

The Kensington PocketHUB offers a good form factor for both the mobile computer user and the mobile technician who need a USB hub.
USB hubs are not very 'exciting' devices to look at. Since the Xircom (Entrega) USB products made their exit, it has been difficult to find an aesthetically pleasing hub. (Not that a hub that doesn't look 'cool' will perform any better or worse, but it is always nice to find good-looking products.)
The Kensington PocketHUB is a great USB hub device for the mobile user. With optional external power and cord storage in the back of the hub, it has become an attractive choice for both the mobile computer user and the mobile technician who are in need of a HUB device. It will be the hub device of choice that we will add to our next installment of the Ultimate Toolbox next year. While the Belkin F5U221 four-Port USB 2.0 hub would better serve desktop users, mobile users who want a small and lightweight form factor should consider the Kensington PocketHUB. Good deals on the PocketHUB are available on the Internet, and we have seen prices at low as $27.00 US, which makes this an attractive buy.
