The Logitech MouseMan Traveler continues to be one of the best choices for a compact optical travel mouse.
It is the mouse designed for mobile professionals of all types. The MouseMan Traveler first came to our attention with its selection for our Ultimate Tool Box. Since then, we have expanded our use of the MouseMan Traveler to portable, on-the-go mousing of all types, and have found it to be an excellent performer. With its compact form, protective carrying case, three button design, sleek comfortable metal-like surface and new color (purple and blue) choices, this is still our portable mouse of choice.
Although both Microsoft and Kensington have also introduced new products in this category, we still seem to always come back to the MouseMan Traveler for our portable mouse needs. While the suggested retail price of $49.95 US may seem a little steep, none of the other portable solutions we have tested get it done with the elegant engineering that Logitech does with the MouseMan Traveler.
