Mid Range - Altec Lansing 641 Speakers
Mid Range - Altec Lansing 641 Speakers
Comparison of 13 4.1 and 5.1 Sound Systems

The Altec Lansing 641 speakers have a very attractive design and offer a great deal of performance for the money. The 641 includes a wired remote control which is a nice addition to the set. The performance of the 641 sound is well distributed over the four speakers, and gamers will find themselves completely surrounded. A good choice with exceptional volume that could fill a good size room.
High End - Altec Lansing 4100 Speakers
Comparison of 13 4.1 and 5.1 Sound Systems
$150 US

The Altec 4100 series offers a slim look that is very "in" right now and is completely different from the 641 series. Many will opt for the style of the 4100 series over the 641, but the 641 does have a bit more separation and volume than the 4100 does. However, the 4100 makes up for that with the additional styling that the 641 lacks.
