Quake III Team Arena is ID Software's take on a multi-player version of Quake III. From a technical standpoint, Quake III Team Arena is very similar to Quake III Arena.

Installation
After installing Quake III Team Arena, the program should be started with the so-called Mission Pack. To do so, you must add the following to the start up shortcut: '+set_fs_missionpack'.

This parameter is necessary for Quake III Team Arena.
Settings
The settings can be changed under 'Options » Setup » System'. Here are our preferences:

Benchmarking
The process benchmarking is no different than with Quake III Arena. In this case, however, we use a timedemo (thg3) that we recorded ourselves, which puts a lot of load on the system.
