MSI NX6800 Ultra-T2D256

Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra
Memory: 256MB
Display Outputs: 2x DVI-I (Single Link)
TMDS: Output1: Integrated (NVIDIA, Output2: Add-On: SIL 164 (Silicon Image)
Bus: AGP 8x
DVI Compliance Test Output 1:

TX0 (Red): UXGA (1600x1200) 141 MHz

TX1 (Green): UXGA (1600x1200) 141 MHz

TX2 (Blue): UXGA (1600x1200) 141 MHz
On the first display, the MSI NX6800 Ultra-T2D256 produces the UXGA resolution at a frequency of only 141 MHz, i.e. with a reduced blanking interval. This can lead to problems with older monitors (see MSI FX-5700 Ultra-TD128). Other than that, the eye diagrams show a very homogeneous distribution of data.
Result: DVI compliant at 162MHz
DVI Compliance Test Output 2:

TX0 (Red): UXGA (1600x1200) 162 MHz

TX1 (Green): UXGA (1600x1200) 162 MHz

TX2 (Blue): UXGA (1600x1200) 162 MHz
For the second DVI output, MSI uses a SiL 164 (Silicon Image) TMDS transmitter chip, allowing it to reach full DVI compliance at 162 MHz. Despite this, the eye diagrams shows a very turbulent data stream in some cases. In TX2 (blue), the data lies within the lower border (undershoot), barely inside the limit. Problems may arise when longer DVI cables are used.
Result: DVI compliant at 162MHz
