The PIM applications have also been improved - it is now quicker and easier to find your contacts. Matching entries appear as soon as you enter the first letters of a first name or surname. Support for the Vcard and Vcal standards facilitates the interchange of data with other PDAs.
Diary now easier to read: weekends are shown in different colors (Saturday in blue, Sunday in red).
The new Windows Media Player 9 for the Pocket PC also plays MPEG4, WMV9 and WMA9 files. Video playback is smoother, too.
