The mouse has a very luxurious appearance, with its curves and impeccable gray-and-black finish, which exudes elegance. The design reminds you of the quiet cushiness of a CEO's office rather than the decor of a LAN in someone's basement. Personally, I prefer the looks of the MX 1000 to the somewhat showy appearance of the MX 510.

This is, however, a massive mouse. Its base is very wide and its ergonomic design suits it only to right-handers. Despite the size, though, it handles very nicely. The position is natural and makes guiding the mouse efficient. While it's heavy, at 175 grams, you have no trouble reacting very quickly in a game like Unreal Tournament. However, some gamers will be put off by its weight.
