The GXL 512: Double the Gamers, Double the Fun? : The ATI GXL 512 Man LAN

In March of this year , THG journeyed to the south Jersey shores to cover the new trend of smaller LAN organizations combining forces to form one larger LAN party. The founding LAN parties - GODS, Xtreme-Players and LAN Synergy - joined forces to become what is now know as the GXL. Since their first event together in February (the 256-man LAN) two more LANs have merged with the GXL. Their hope is to have even bigger and better events for gamers across the east coast. Bristling with additional manpower, and featuring event branding by ATI Technologies, the GXL launched their latest event: the ATI GXL 512.

With double the people, you also have to double the parking and sign-in issues.
People from all over the east coast made the trip to the quaint little town of Millville, NJ, about an hour southeast of Philadelphia, and a little more than an hour and a half south of Newark. Some traveled from as far away as Massachusetts and Virginia to experience the GXL.
