Top-of-the-line Design
The build quality of the XL775D is exemplary for several reasons. This extra-flat monitor uses top-quality materials. The panel is protected by a glass plate, and the base is made of solid aluminum. The XL775D has a finish that's close the Shuttle XP17's, and for more than $200 less! The buttons on the front of the monitor are all set into a metallic gray edge across the bottom of the glass plate. The external placement of the power supply unit makes it possible to achieve a very flat monitor. The overall design is very well thought out and rather harmonious. A fine debut for Xerox!
Ergonomics

The OSD is the most elegant we tested for this article. Navigation isn't the simplest, but you get used to it. The monitor is not adjustable for height. The tilt adjustment is limited by the power supply connector being located between the base of the monitor and the panel. It's a somewhat odd choice. Also, while the monitor is extra flat, the connectors are flush with the panel, and so it's not much use. As for connectivity, VGA and DVI are standard.
