Core 2 Quad Processor "Kentsfield" (Quad Core)

Core 2 Quad offers a total of four processing cores. Different from the Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad does not carry a single piece of silicon, but two Core 2 Duos under its hood. As a result, one dual core unit accessing data in the other unit will cause front side bus traffic. This certainly isn't ideal, but yet results in the fastest processor the world has seen.
