Benchmarks Results
3DMark05
In our first run of 3DMark we test at all resolutions with antialiasing and anisotropic filtering disabled. The second time around we increase the image quality with 4xAA and 8xAF.
We are not sure why the GeForce 7900GS did not beat the GeForce 7800GT in 3DMark05; this could be due to driver optimizations for the existing card compared to the newcomer. The only place where there is an improvement over the GeForce 7800GT is at high resolution with image quality features enabled.
