The Best of E3

The movie industry has the Academy Awards, NFL football has the Superbowl and the video game world has E3. While Electronic Entertainment Expo isn't quite an awards ceremony or title-winning contest, it is where the present is highlighted, and the future is decided. If you want to make a name for yourself, your game or even your hardware, then your presence is required at this most colossal of events.

This year 400 of the world's top entertainment companies displayed more than 5,000 computer and video game products on 525,000 square feet of exhibit floor space at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Like angry fire ants, we swarmed over nearly every foot of this most important of events to offer THG's Best of Show picks.
